Does back pain at 20 years old mean that I'm growing a few cms? Or is it just a myth?
Mar 2, 2015

Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
Growth pains are usually attributed to gain of height in children and adolescents and are usually localized to long bones, especially the knee joint. They remain poorly understood on the level of physiology. Such pains are highly unlikely to occur at your age, and they are not reported to take place at the level of the back. So there must be another reason for your back pain. I advise you to get examined by a physician to find out the cause and manage this pain accordingly.
