I suffer from hair loss. I had surgery related to my gland three months ago. Is there a solution? And are hair implants efficient, especially at my age?

Dr. Rania Mousa General Medicine
Your hair problem is probably due to post surgery bleeding, anemia, aging, low vitamins, low iron levels, smoking, hormones, other medical conditions might contribute to the problem. The treatment will depend on the cause.
In general, a good candidate for a hair transplant is an adult with established hair loss who is in good health and doesn't have any medical conditions or allergies that would preclude him or her from undergoing the surgery. It is not a matter of age, if you fulfilll the above requirements, you can undergo the planting surgery. The doctor will evaluate and decide depending on your medical condition and hair condition and make the right decision accordingly.
