I've been having chest pain and headaches for 3 days. Why?

Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
The possible explanations of your symptoms, taking into account your age, are many. It could be a pneumonia, especially if associated with cough and fever, a musculoskeletal problem (inflammation of the muscles or joints).
Other more serious causes, like coronary artery disease (i.e., one ore more of the arteries that supply your heart muscle are partially blocked) or pulmonary embolism (a blood clot reaches the small blood vessels in your lungs), also must be ruled out, and they become more probable if you have risk factors for cardiovascular disease (like obesity, hypertension, diabetes, smoking, high cholesterol).
You're advised to consult your physician without delay to get a proper evaluation and management.

It can be a simple viral illness. It will disappear in a few days with some paracetamol.
