Can the contraceptive pill reduce the risk of having children in women?
Jan 11, 2013

Dr. Karim Nawfal Obstetrics & Gynecology
Their are different types of oral contraceptive pills. When used correctly they have a 97% to 99% success of preventing pregnancy.
However after stopping the pills ovulation resumes promptly (within 1 to 3 months ) and does not affect the chances of getting pregnant.
