Can I take two different medications together at the same time? For example Yasmin and Panadol?
Jan 8, 2016

Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
This depends on the medications you'd like to take. Some medications are incompatible such the they affect each other's functions (what we call drug-drug interaction) such that the affected drug may end up having a more potent effect (and maybe toxic levels in the blood), or becomes less effective (because its metabolism is increased). Regarding Yasmin and Panadol, there is no problem if you wish to co-administer these two drugs.
