Can a girl go to the beach directly after losing her virginity? does it hurt or burn?
Jun 4, 2013

Dr. Nemer Charafeddine Obstetrics & Gynecology
theoretically no, because after loosing your virginity, you will be having skin micro-abrasion, or small hymeneal laceration - even if you did not bleed -, that can catch infection from sea water.
you need 4 to 5 days so that these abrasions are healed..

loosing your virginity as Dr charafeddine states is a skin micro abrasion ,in other words it is a wound an open wound, Besides exposing other swimmers to germs from an open wound, germs in the water can make you sick or cause your wound to become infected. Lakes, rivers and even the ocean can be contaminated with bacteria from various sources. Some germs can even survive for a long time in salt water. When you have an open wound, it is a portal of entry on your body for various germs and lead to infection. It is advisable to wait until an open wound is covered by skin or healed before swimming. and this usually takes as Dr charafeddine said 4-5 days
