If all else is normal, meaning that your baby is not sick or suffering from gas or acid reflux, and he's not overbundled (too many clothes layers or covers), then he may be trying to express his frustration with something, like if the room is too hot, or there's too much noise around.
It's true that temper tantrums don't usually start until a baby is 12 to 18 months old, but your baby's angry crying may seem like a smaller version of one. If your baby's fussy throughout the day but doesn't need to be fed or have her diaper changed, he may just need to let off steam. Some babies cry to release tension or burn off excess energy – and some just need to cry themselves to sleep.
Even babies who are usually pleasant may get frustrated and angry when they start to explore their surroundings but aren't quite capable of doing what they want. So for example, if your baby is over strapped in the car seat and he wants to move around, he cannot do this freely so he gets fussy.
Most importantly, you need to remain calm as much as you can. Babies can feel that an adult is irritated and usually respond better to the calm contained adult versus the angry adult.
